One of the most insidious culprits that disconnects us from our authentic selves is the word "should." "Should" is a word that divides us, fosters judgment, and breeds shame and blame. Each time we use "should," we subtly inflict these painful emotions upon ourselves. It's like micro-dosing on shame and blame, slowly eroding our self-worth.
